  1. Heavy 1. of great weight; hard to lift or carry: a heavy load.
    2. of great amount, quantity, or size; extremely large; massive
Mettle 1. courage and fortitude: a man of mettle.
    2. disposition or temperament
Poisoning 1. the condition produced by a poison or by a toxic substance
Symptoms: mental confusion, pain in muscles and joints, headaches, vision problems, and chronic fatigue
Spend enough time in a lead painted lair, warming cold thoughts by a magnesium fire, and thumbing through IUPAC's (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) latest musings and you have a true alchemist. Trial and error define a good chemist, one whose knowledge comes directly from experience, and one whose experience is used to forge new frontiers in personal accomplishment. Not even depleted uranium can match the mettle being produced in this laboratory. Search the periodic table of elements to no avail for what we are manufacturing. The mettalic properties of this session produced an effort that yielded a greater density than plutonium. The concluding sickness was enough to yield the hazardous materials placard.
The first evolution yielded a time of 4:45 using a constant pace. Any semblance of expediency in gait would've been paid for with the grip.
During the second evolution the log was dropped 20 mtrs short of the finish at 5:59. This is hitherto the most daunting task executed. The log's relationship with gravity could barely be subdued by the contaminating power of volition. The high carry quickly deteriorated to a desperate grasp for completion. Each transfer of the oversized baton produced a temporary respite from the pain and agony of an ostensibly simple task. The log has won a tier one position in our arsenal.
The final evolution was finished in a contemptible 9:36 insulting an already exhausted effort. Calling Poison Control won't produce an antidote. The only hope can be found in the prospects of mutation.
