KICK IN THE BELLS

emom:

pull-ups
32kg kbs (american)

perform a 10-1 ladder of each movement; after minute 10 begin ascending each min. until failure

score is final number of pull-ups/kbs completed in a minute

  1. 13 repetitions

Intended consequences of the descending ladder did not materialize. An idea I’ve wanted to implement, this concept aimed to overload and wear down capacity on the back end, by front-loading work. However, even with heavy swings, lower repetitions allotted ample rest allowing more than adequate recovery. The stopping point came as a result of damaged hands not time, fatigue, or failure. The basic premise has merit; execution within the determined guidelines was faulty.
