135# hang power cleans x 10
7 intervals; rest between rounds is as follows:
1 & 2: 90 sec./2 & 3: 75 sec./3 & 4: 60 sec./
4 & 5: 45 sec./5 & 6: 30 sec./6 & 7: 15 sec.
score is cumulative minutes and/or seconds over the fastest interval
(i.e. individually compare all other efforts to your fastest interval, then add up total excess time for score)
and where is your data to support and uphold your non-pseudo-sci-fi 'your way is the highway and only way' of strength training?
ReplyDeletehow many athletes have you trained and coached to support what you are stating? what are their competition results? who are you anyway? wtf is this website that i was told to check out because of its ridiculous comments? what is your background and how long have you been coaching powerlifting/olympic lifting/gpp?
this website is a joke. the programming is a joke. its nothing but that cross fit crap that everyone speaks so highly about. seems like your beef is with that particular crowd...that is so evident in your comments. dont even get me started on what that person 324 posts - hell no one can understand wtf he/she is talking about. i dont even think 324 knows what their posting.
i am going to spread the word to every powerlifting coach i know in texas to check this website out. be prepared to answer some questions from them as well and back up what you are saying with data and stats.
my advice to you guys: stay in your lane. you have no experience/credentials in making athletes better. this 'thing' or project you have going on does not make any sense. how about posting a mission statement or what the goal of 324 is about? my answer is that you don't know what your own mission is. what are you trying to achieve with your training? looks like gpp. if so, i can tell you from my experience that you have no clue what you're doing. and that my lad, is a fact. just because your own personal training might have worked FOR YOU, doesnt mean that your methods will work for other people. and this is why i question your coaching experience. im sure you have achieved great success with your own training. but that doesnt amount to rat terds when it comes to making others better. and by the looks and sounds of it, 324 is looking for company and seeking out followers. well, good luck with that.
and quit coming off as haters. its a huge turn off. quit coming off like your way is the only way or right way. you sound like a 16 yr old pissed off at his dad and rebelling. its childish.

Wow! You sound pretty upset and emotionally charged. I'll entertain this drivel and answer your question (for the sake of other people reading who may have the same question but don't lack the tact). We are two guys training each other. We have alluded to this in the past, i.e. that our programming is for us and our objectives, not the general public. The posts are also for us; not for you to understand. I could probably relegate my style of writing so that you could understand it but I refuse to dilute the product. The one point I will address is what I think is your misunderstanding regarding the post. He was writing in favor of powerlifting and associated regimentation so by turning on other lifters to this you will only be supporting our argument.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to have an intellectual debate I will gladly accommodate you. If you want to challenge me then, again, I'll gladly accommodate you.
My advice is to move on.

ReplyDeleteThree Two Four is virtual showroom displaying the training, thoughts, and ideas of two individuals. The workouts, philosophy, and opinions contained within are not intended for mass consumption. Our mission statement has been reiterated on this website repetitively. A little further research (reading beyond this weeks posts) would certainly have tendered a better explanation as to our cause and/or purpose. Neither myself, nor “that 324 person” are staking any claim to training other athletes or professing any immaculate credentials to do so. Other individuals sharing an interest in this site, the programming generated here, or seen in featured media prescribe to the methods solely based on personal desire. I will let you redirect inquires regarding their satisfaction and/or results. However, do not expect testimony or evidence in support of your case.
The product established here is individual specific. The end user designs each program, as such, needs and parameters are addressed accordingly. The “data and stats” are available daily in the form of conclusive results; measured by time, work, weight, etc. I am not trying to make you better. This is a documented journey of two men through the realm of personal improvement. That said, if others find success utilizing methods and techniques pioneered or executed here, that is a circumstantial, yet, beneficial bi-product of our existence.
My advice: A pocket dictionary/thesaurus and English 015. Good day sir.
I think he might have lost some clients to 324, Maybe because they realized their own potential and gained some self reliance. 324 told me that "MY training is My training", I personally would not want this douch bag or anyone else telling me what my goals are or what they should be.
ReplyDeleteKeep doing what your doing, you are inspiring others to be active and accomplish things they would not have been able to do without that inspiration. After all, belief in yourself, not a coach, trainer, or anyone else is the ultimate success!

ReplyDelete324 and Turbo J support the idea of individualized training so that their methods can be used as rx'd, modified, or not at all in your case. These 2 individuals owe nothing to anyone. They have published a live documented journey of fitness for all to see and do with what they please. I will defend this cause because these methods have worked for me. You seem to be a powerlifter or O-lifter, whatever you call your type of training and seem to be against functional training or "this crossfit crap". You should ask Coach Burgener how he feels about the ability of O-lifting and functional training (crossfit) to coexist. So I choose to follow the 324 program, based on my own results; that does not give me the right to attack your program and deny your benefits from it. The only thing I have left to say is to Turbo J and 324. Keep up with the excellent programming that DOES work for yourselves and select followers because fitness is a personal journey in which everyone chooses their own path. You owe no explanation to any jokers out there.
