Another attempt to project logic and further dispel 7 x 1 nonsense. The open exploitation of ineffective methods is on the verge of cerebral hemorrhage. I am still trying to locate that portion of the powerlifting population that does 3RM and 1RM efforts religiously for strength gain. In any strength training, multi-sport, or general conditioning program gains are almost always front-loaded. This supports success and increases for those initially exposed to training. However, as the athlete advances within the regiment, progress plateaus, and the course must be refined to promote expanded growth. Yet, it seems that popular pseudo-science has dictated a reoccurring platform, maintaining personal records to be shattered by searching for max load at every visitation.
