  1. An unusually complex magnetic eruption of uncivilized energy has broken through the heat barrier and sent charged particles throughout the greater Middle East, redefining the very nature of possibility. Three miles were run in direct opposition of solar dictatorship, challenging its position while in the safety of its apex. Training at the hottest point of the day has raised my smoke point substantially, reducing the possibility of a cook-off, and re-calibrating core operating temperatures. Shade is a luxury, not a way of life.
The dust covered and gravel infested tarmac transformed into a scene from the ancient days of men, whereby two strangers tested their will in a fierce battle against the remorseless objects of hell's affection. Training with another person served as both a rest arbitrator and a target that slowly diminished with each iteration, requiring more persistence as neither would show the slightest inclination for withdraw. In the end, we dominated the hostile environment, creating enough solar energy to reduce the price per barrel of oil to $3.24 per gallon.
