NUMBERZ GAME

225# deadlift x 5
45# thrusters max reps

accumulate 100 thrusters as fast as possible; 30 seconds of rest between intervals

score is the number of intervals required to reach 100

    hip flexors gave in before quads did on the thrusters... flexibility issues much??!?

    Never miscalculate the crippling effect of 45# thrusters. Light and inconsequential with fresh legs and inflated confidence, demoralizing with the presence of lactic acid and swirling thoughts of doubt. Deadlifts work as a meat tenderizer, prepping both drumsticks for high heat. Settle in and work for consistency. Range of motion controls the pace here, difficult to grasp, but grounded in reality, less weight does not always imply more repetitions. Endurance is on the chop block, inability to maintain steady output, slices reps, and increases intervals.
