This was probably a faster time than I would have anticipated being that I went at it along side Turbo which always tends to make one want to go just a little bit faster.

To the rational brain this design might be considered taboo. The general programming public frowns upon the exclusive use of a single movement in reiteration. I submit to you: In particular circumstances, not only is it warranted, but advantageous. Toss concern for public appeal aside, drown sanity in the emerging puddle of sweat at your feet, and listen to the non compos mentis cries for self-improvement.

Looking at 60 total cleans for time will leave a blind man enthralled with his predicament. There are two visible approaches to contemplate for completion. Fast, hard, and hold on. Or move with steady state purpose. I chose the ladder. As I’ve mentioned, I find success (faster times) when reducing rest through continued movement. Here, it meant employing the drop and go tactic. Bar to the rack, back to the deck, and reset. The first round was fluid, fast elbows and strong hips. By the second round, the week’s earlier escapades haunted me like an Internet sex tape. More and more time was consumed convincing the body to implement the mind’s desire. However, the final round always brings rejuvenation, the work regaining meaningful purpose. Simply, fight for the right to finish.

Steve, your efforts continue to gain momentum. Stand fast and strong, the pinnacle of your potential is far from the sight of mortal men.

We needed to do something to this morning. Being 6 hrs ahead of you guys makes it easy to decide.
    "Go to 324!"

Nice short story Turbo! I had to look at the stop watch 2x to make sure I was seeing things the right way.

  4. btw, i already tossed aside what popular public believes in. I am in it for the changes that have made my life more interesting.

Seriously, how long could you keep doing wods with only 95#, 115#, 135? or 21-15-9 reps etc.

The 70 kg felt today just like the 60 kg did last summer.

    So something is working!
