most times, we realize that we don't have what it takes mentally to become a part of an ideal or associate ourselves with an entity or 'group'. by the same token, we don't know what we're capable of until we expose ourselves and put ourselves through something that will bring it out of us. this is for everyone, but everyone is not for this.
Well said! Whether we like it or not WE are the architects of our environment. WE are the landscape. We slip through the streets like the invisible observer but others do the same. They see us, they judge us, and those who have the fortitude follow us. Whomever is willing to follow another into such a torment of training may just come from the same stock. The bond we share in the environment we create transcends the natural differences that separate us. Getting to know yourself is the only way to buy into this game, to make your mark, and do your duty to recruit others.
