  1. 215 complete; failed on 225. Lesson learned: celebrate too soon and lose the necessary focus needed to complete the task. I couldn't help but be reminded of the football player who does the celebratory jookey dance in the end zone and pulls a muscle. My inclination to bellow out in jubilation was my undoing, falling short of the required distance on what seemed like a 'business as usual' task.
Taking a load from ground to overhead is useful but traveling elevates the task to a new level of utility. With the weight of a thousand atmospheres crushing down, the slightest compromise in stability will reveal weakness with the blinding light of a thousand suns. Rigid determination is the mantra. Enduring the pressure and resisting anticipation will produce more distance than a hurried pace. If you have any inclination to hunch over, cower, droop, or shrink in fear then avoid this task as it requires the most rigid and defined projection of posture and personal altitude. Standing up for who you are requires more core strength than the average onlooker is willing to deploy.

  2. The length of the mooring line has become the standard distance for one or two way trips, especially when using the mooring line itself. I think it's about 38 mtrs. It's not an international standard by any means. All distances, regardless of magnitude or use are arbitrary. Establish your own arbitrary standard and build from there.
