1 mile for time
So today Travis and Jelisse both attended their first CF comp ever. It was awesome but not without tragedy, in event number 2 I (Travis) managed to separate my shoulder on a muscle up, the WOD was 20 DL @ 135 and 3 MU AMRAP 10 min, the injury occurred in round 2, I managed 4 rounds wounded, Jelisses performance was nothing short of awesome, she finished 12th of 32 overall and I came limping in at 43rd of 97. The 3rd event was taxing a burpee thruster combo , my shoulder was definitely the debilitating factor in this event, but i marched on refusing to drop out. Overall it was a good experience and cant wait to dial everything in and get in another one.

ReplyDeleteTwo consummate line handlers dedicated to paying out the ample slack of physical destruction. Raging seas, gale force winds, naval blockades, or UN Sanctions do little in the way of deterring Warship 324 from pier side delivery. This particular port call served as a team building exercise; perfecting the unison allocation of cargo holds packed with innate determination. Even and succinct distribution of double braid wore nonskid down to primer. Harnessing the tranquil resolve of a Malaysian snake charmer, the nylon python was hypnotized and managed for 1600 meters. Save skill movements for the landlubbers, only sea urchins and scallywags thrive in the salt chuck.
