How hard am I willing to push knowing the end is in sight? That was the burning question of the day, hitting me in the face after 20 reps on the pullup bar heading into the 2nd half. With a repeat of 60 unbroken double unders, this one was in the books wihtout forcing overtime.
This was proactive recovery. Sometimes action is an obligatory recovery element, executed to support further training. Heavy back squats left my legs with diddly, omitting of course, the surplus of lactic acid still residing rent-free. No better way to flush unwanted tenants than forced eviction. Nothing over the top, just steady work. Move the body and oust scrounging remnants of previous conquest, creating vacancy for prospective exploits.
