Don’t get bamboozled by the first 400 meters, gravity and fatigue still exist. To find the finish line with haste, identify a pace that promotes overhead stability and expeditious progress. Too fast and the wavering effects of speed wear away, too slow and advancement diverges from effort. Rest periods must be taken considering time and recovery. Standing around at the 1200 meter mark rationalizing an extra 15-20 seconds of down time will not draw this thing to a close any quicker. The end, similar to the start, is a clash with resilience.
