This was an edifying transaction between power output (ability to produce an on demand pace) and capacity (ability to sustain determined output). The C2 is a metaphysical transport, abducting its victims, exposing them to metabolic misery, robbing the system of precious energy, and then rejecting their lifeless bodies and confused minds like yesterday's ideas. The brief sojourn started with a sub PR pace, oscillating between 1:29 and 1:32. Flying through the cozy cumulus clouds at mach speed didn't last long. The automatic experienced rapid deflation as the final quarter was riddled by unbridled turbulence. As a seasoned pilot and narrator it was obvious that I would fall short of the landing strip and had to set her down. At approximately 250 meters, grid coordinates unknown, the fuel cells were bled dry. An awful sucking noise came from the motor that only grew louder as the proverbial nose dive diminished the prospect of survival. Before giving the order to abandon ship I thought about the men who rode the USS Indianapolis to the bottom of the ocean. This seemingly innocuous thought was enough to get back on pace from a rapidly decompressing 1:46 back down to the low 1:30s until the crash landing abruptly ended operations.
Lesson: Buy a blowtorch, run your motor dry, ride it in hard, and be prepared to pick up the pieces.

  2. Row was done on a schwinn windrigger: 4:20.
the heaviest slam ball I have is 20# so I increased rep scheme to compensate for weight...5-7-9. Surprised to get 185# overhead since I'm coming off of a shoulder injury. Thanks for leading.
