  1. With only fumes in the gas tank, energy levels low, and a growing burden atop my shoulders only a slow and methodical approach proved to be the key to traversing the pre-planned route. The ostensibly innocuous squat jumps had an insidious effect on blast off pressure. Each weight/rep combo offered its own demands, making gear choice critical for balancing strength and energy. Spinning out with high numbers in the beginning obviously limits the distance one can cover in pounds but compensates in capacity. The king of exercises made me feel like a pauper.
