Despite feeling like I had been crucified on the tree of woe the gravitational attraction to mission accomplishment kept a ragtag skin encased mass of carbon moving towards a crescendo of madness. The slings and arrows of destruction slowly picked apart an otherwise fully armed and operational arsenal of power. A weak body was easily overcome by a strong spirit.
The 155# g2oh ladder was anything but accommodating. If you are looking for an ascension into heaven or some other fluffy romper room you might want to take the elevator. Each rung gets exponentially farther from the previous, making it easier to tie off and call in an air lift rescue. Unfortunately, there is only room for one in this gravity infested world of witchcraft. Only an evil spell can make light weight heavy, stop time, and pit one lung against the other while breathing suffers at the hand of their domestic dispute.
I truly expected a faster time. The body weight cycle was as fast as it could be with no breaks or long pauses. The 155 moved at what I thought was a constant pace but apparently I checked out of the notell hotel and got lost on the road to nowhere, resting while time rusted away. The only real lesson learned is to not hang the rings too high or the false grip will get sacrificed on the first rep. Furthermore, instead of standing up and employing the dip, drive, and press with the bar I caught the bar in the dip position and went straight overhead. The weight felt easy but not speedy.
I'm not sure if it was harder than spear vs khalipa but the muscle up added a twist, demanding a commitment and stifling the tendency to shift to the standard cindy autopilot mode. Further research is needed.
