The squat is simply too valuable to not employ at least one variation once per week, i.e. back, front, or
overhead. Having a nice pair of girl hips may be good for lightening fast times with light loads but when the siren sounds and big iron starts to fly a solid hip engagement is the only solution to gravity's problem.

There has always been a suspicion of doubt regarding the utility in the second circus act but I'm pretty sure now there is good reason why this hasn't been employed since the last time doing it. A better alternative would've been one arm russian swings with limited rest or disqualification. I'm not convinced that this movement really translates usefully. Playing granny toss with a rock could probably elicit the same response. Except for professional k-bellers this movement is very asymmetrical and full of dangerous nuances. Bottom line: I'm really not sure what I got out of this movement.
