    Today I suffered a serious lack of oomph so I chose the most oomph-intensive movement I knew. I fell short of my goal but know that at full strength today's numbers will get swallowed whole and serve as nothing more than a stepping stone. Sometimes it's a good idea to train at a disadvantage, to work strength and power when weak and lethargic. Sometimes it's good to do what we don't feel like doing lest we cultivate the bad habit of letting poor and cuddly feelings stifle our cold and rigid drives to exceed ourselves. Our motivation should be the driving force behind our decisions to move or acquiesce. We should answer the question daily whether or not we really want it, it being everything that stands to move us down one road or another.
