    A protracted run through the depths of depleted oxygen induced by personal heroics battling barbells and bodyweight. Construction instigated shoulder fatigue from the start. Such long-winded workouts do little more than test metal without a focal point. The first couplet proceeded unbroken, 10 muscle ups in succession, speed hindered slightly by the clean and jerk effort. Similar unbroken protocol unfolded for the thruster/pull-up combo. Runs were used as a rest period, maintaining a reputable pace while preparing for the ensuing engagement. That scenario soon subsided entering the last bout with overhead squats. Lassitude set in, overhead stability suffered mandating three sets to complete 10 repetitions at 155#. Such circumstances are predictable, however, failing to muster more than eight push-ups in succession was not clearly delineated in my crystal ball. Merge the appropriate movements with shrewd precision and pour a solid foundation for diabolical business.
