  1. Basic navigation will render basic results while coaxing more wind from already tattered and stressed sails amidst the tumult and chaos of rogue waves will drive any captain to a personal best. Re-stow your parallel plotter and compass. The C2 comes fully equipped with integrated GPS, calculations that reveal speed, bearing, and distance, necessary components for concluding the journey in the predetermined time.
The purpose of today's mission wasn't necessarily to row as it was to plot a course through the deep waters of desperation and discover the necessary fortitude to successfully make port after braving a self-sustaining storm. On this journey, the captain has the power to control the seas by pacifying his effort and reducing the risk of capsizing from exhaustion but in so doing, surely rejected by those who rested after the storm was subdued, the conquistadors, steadfast and dedicated to personal discovery and world domination. The only two options afforded to this sailor were to make port successfully or sink. Load the rum. Resources were stretched thin, only managing a personal best by one second. Going into the yards would be a reasonable decision but being in the yards means not being at sea. Repairs must wait for the conclusion of this forlorn journey.
The row continues to progress unabated despite a lack of attention in the current regimen. Batten down the hatches and weigh anchor; this ship is sailing into deep waters.
