  1. 20 ring dips

Open your Trapper Keeper and file this one under painful. The follow on effects left the shoulders and chest sore to the touch. Certainly deceptive, but not surprising, as 11-minutes of work produced 122 ring dips (110 + 12 of 22 completed in the final minute). I attribute such debilitating effects to the SDLHP. The weight and/or rep scheme missed the mark, either one required supplement. Only three irritations at the prescribed load did little to interrupt time or capacity for ring dips. Without requisite obstruction, rig dips accumulated with devastating consequence. An alternate choice, 155# x 3 or increased reps (135# x 5). Likely additional reps would’ve worked best. Careful programming satisfies established objectives without creating total impairment as an unintentional bi-product… Not the case here.

  2. it's interesting to watch and see you making similar "mistakes" as i do the same thing from time to time. the information we learn from these errors is far more valuable than 100 "perfectly programmed" efforts. thanks for taking the time to note the failures as well as the successes along this road, it benefits the rest of us who are out here experimenting in no mans land.
