Complexity does not always go hand in hand with effectiveness. This is two separate components with little lag time enabling fast pace work enroute to the finish. The bar was taken from the ground by way of power snatch, transitioning immediately to the squat. OHS numbers were selected to promote uninterrupted sets, maintaining the fast paced nature of the program. Stability is key, OHS at 135# can move rapidly, assuming the operative employs necessary protocol. Bar position, active shoulders, and a steady midline keep piston drive productive. Lose stability; lose time. Run intervals tested flat out speed through ability to cycle lactic acid. To avoid being overrun; execute with rapid accuracy.
