Recovery materializes in many forms and rest need not be synonymous with inactivity. For individuals seeking a higher echelon of human performance it’s necessary to research the performance characteristics of machine producing the results. Never assume a “three on, one off” blueprint is the immediate solution to peak performance. Experiment with low impact recovery, through personal experience I’ve found my body responds much better after light workouts than 24 hours of idle behavior. Not the formula for everyone, but worth investigating.
