KTE/push ups
NOT for time but don't rest either.
fine print: Perform the KTEs without kipping. Perform the push ups with complete range of motion, pausing as close to but without touching the ground and at the top of a complete lock out. Avoid snipping bits and pieces off the ends of a movement until you're left with a disenfranchised range of motion. The objective is not to create the perception of getting a "good work out" as much is it is a corollary to part a of the meltdown. Perceived exertion is nothing more than subterfuge. We deal in the cold and uninterpreted realm of reality.

If Chernobyl taught us anything it is the importance of control rods. If I could teach us anything it would be the value of discarding the control rods and riding the ensuing lightening bolt of super critical destruction into the dark and lonely clouds of peak experience.
ReplyDeleteAfter programming the grid coordinates and launch codes the silo door was opened and all cylinders fired in chaotic synchronicity, pursuing the target with unfettered diligence until accomplishing the mission with a direct hit.
Although traditional strength training would object to this type of numerical roulette, preferring a more user friendly progression to the brutish demands of limited rest and increased weight, the value is in how close the task mimics the real world. The arms race in which we are all engaged is merciless in its treatment of the players. If we can learn to operate under the realistic stressors of varied rest intervals and loads then we can surmount any obstacle. Although we endeavor to reach maximum strength and endurance the moderate loads issued in a variety of different forms are more commensurate with the natural spin imparted by the volatility of a temperamental universe.
The philosophical lesson of this endeavor revolves around the touch and go technique when applied to heavier loads. With light loads the touch and go is inconsequential if form is consistent as damage is less likely; however, the loaded position used to catapult the first rep is difficult to replicate and lowering the heavier load to the ground in a controlled fashion is more destructive compared to a controlled drop. In fact, I surmise that the negative takes an exponential toll on the subsequent rep until this continues. The result is a less and less loaded position in comparing the first and last rep. Each round contains less and less propellant thereby diminishing maximum effective range. A controlled drop, consequently, would permit reloading the appropriate position for maximizing leverage and successfully executing another rep. An idea may be be limiting multiple reps with heavier loads to a 15 second interval pace. This idea will be put before the holy order of congressional fitness, a bifurcated house of two representatives legislating the counter revolutionary law of no man's land. The fissionability of generated ideas is too great to bring to fruition. Session is in a constant state of uncontrolled supercriticality. Foot soldiers are in demand. great video
ReplyDeletethanks for the level of depth when explaining the methods to the madness that is 324
Bullshark,
ReplyDeleteDid this workout today. It was good used lighter weight due to the fact I have a hernia in my stomach. Anyway Turbo keep up the good work. I'm spreading the word up here.
This is just another tale of nuclear destruction and radioactive mayhem from Three Two Four Mile Island. For those seeking refuge outside of 5x5, Core Meltdown protocol institutes a time sensitive crisis management program designed to amplify emergency response. At the nucleus of this disaster, 68 deadlifts, amounting to 21,450# of total weight moved. The containment building afforded no protection, three-foot concrete and reinforced steel disintegrated alongside the posterior chain. So, dawn your CBRN gear and commence clean up, the next catastrophic calamity is on the horizon.
