  1. The overhead squat: a combination of strength, flexibility, midline stabilization, and, most importantly, perseverance. The body is completely stretched thin, bridging the gap between the weight and the world, juggling the pins of finesse and rhythm, moving the tank trax in synchronicity, and driving the enemy back into its gravitational force. I didn't bother timing this wod because I don't believe oh squats should be done fast. They are like fine wine and should be savored in their entirety. It doesn't take a lot of weight but enough to proffer a challenge. The wod is named sabotage due to the crumbling second and third set, an exponential recipe for guaranteed failure. As is always the case, the first set is worth nothing less than nil. The wod starts after the tank has been sucked dry of fuel, fumes, and the egotistical aura of a megalomaniac. The wod starts when your heart has been plucked from your chest and put on display at the Smithsonian for the entire world to see. The foundation has been shattered, legs fractured, support straps frayed, and center of gravity shifted. One minor shift or deviation from the mission and failure ensues without reprisal. Nothing we can do except watch in slow motion as the bar falls like a redwood in a California forest; sigh, tragedy. Indiscriminate failure attacks on the first or the last rep. It doesn't matter. The best we can do is squeeze the lactic acid out of the trax, pick up the bar, and drive on to completion. I endeavored to perform all sets unbroken but lost focus and crumbled under the weight of the world. If it were easy, I wouldn't bother.

  3. Over the years I've gone from cow to soy to almond. Read http://milk.procon.org/ if you're interested in learning more. There is a lot more to milk than you think. Like anything else, we should make a personal evaluation instead of relying on the industry's propaganda. Most animals give it up after growing up. It's great for babies but I'm not sure about adults.
