cool video I haven't heard Narayan in a long time Looks like I'm gonna have to break out The Fat Of The Land this weekend I noticed the rings are a few inches or more above your feet. We generally line the rings up at the same height as the box/bench. How much do you think it matters what that relationship is?
Good point. I didn't realize it until I watched the vid BUT I should've realized when it affected the stability of my feet on the bench. It's like a level. If your too high on one side the bubble or the pressure goes down to the other side. Position is absolutely important and after seeing it I didn't want to post the vid. I think the angle affects the range of motion of the target muscle, in this case the chest. This movement definitely has some value, especially for someone training for a push up test. We tried doing tabata push ups while spending the rest in the bottom position. It was a nightmare.
