ReplyDeleteDid not think that this would take this long. Needed to push the row a little harder was averaging about :4 per 1000. Oh yea one more thing "I hate thrusters"!!!!!!! It is amazing how heavy 95# can be.
Ready for some turkey and a nap now. Thanks Mike, have a good Thanks giving.
Nice job! My row times were from 3:58 to 4:06. My strategy was to stay out of the red and break the movements in 15 and 10 rep increments. I'm not sure if this was a good approach since doing 15 or 20 or 25 might result in the same amount of rest. The major show stopper for me was the muscle ups. They took more than eight mins. I tried to pace them without failing but finally failed on 21 and 24. I couldn't keep it sub 40 for this reason but working the muscle up after so many other exercises was worth learning what happens to my form.

ReplyDeleteIt seemed a little odd to me when you told me your row time and total, and the fact that I broke everything up into 5's, though my rest periods were shorter, it became very accumulative in the end. I have never beaten any of your times, so I went back to the gym and checked what I had done. I missed a whole triplet, pull ups, 1000 mtr row, and SDLHP. So sorry for littering up your site with B.S. will not let it happen again.

No worries. It happens. Just by looking at this wod I knew 20 minutes would be eaten up by rowing 5k. I predicted between 40 and 50 min. I thought maybe you had an exceptionally good day. You might take an interst in tomorrow's Dungeon Master. Stay tuned, it's gonna be a good one.
