    The rings used in today's wod were bought from Don (see the email address if you're interested) for $35 dollars. They are fashioned from PVC pipe and provide a more abrasive handle than the rougue rings I usually use. I applied one strip of grip tape and used a light dab of vasoline on the corner of my palms and walked away blister free.

    Chris Swaygay, Sherry, and i have been using your page alot. You haven't been using alot of equip that we dont have access to like many workout routines. Me and Swaygay knocked out this workout at one of the beaches local baseball fields on Sunday. we substituted the 2 of the sledgehammer runs with a farmers carry of 2, 55 lbs. kettle bells just to change things up. Awesome workout! By the way we have also enjoyed your experimental burpe-over-bar workouts. anything new that we are able to do at the lifeguard station or around the beach we are stoked to try. thanks alot for the awesome workout ideas. -bill

  3. Good to hear from you. I'm working on some other pieces of austere equipment. I recommend the H-gear vest. I'm sure you have some laying around somewhere. Running with pitchforks, pushing/pulling cars, railroad ties, logs, duffle/sandbags, atlas stones made from quickcrete, mooring lines, carrying calves until they mature, wooden pallets, truck tires, k-bell throws. I have fgb this saturday but will have some new material sunday.
